Match Report Press Report

IOW 3 Beat Nuffield Health 1 in a close match.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 3 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. This turned out to be the case with a Home win.

On paper, the number 3 string should have been the closest, with only 12 ranking points separating the two players before the match. The Away player, Rob Warburton, did well therefore to secure the win.

It was the number 3 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 134 Points ! Victory finally going to the Away Player and Player of the match, Rob Warburton.

If the Away No. 1 player, Stephen O'Neill, had not had to withdraw after 2 game(s) the result could have been closer.
