Match Report Press Report

Trojans 3 Lost to Petersfield 1 in a close match.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 3 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. The away team proved the statisticians wrong though by clinching a great win.

On paper, the number 1 string should have been the closest, with only 4 ranking points separating the two players before the match. The Away player, Sam Shuff, did well therefore to secure the win.

It was the number 2 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 103 Points ! Victory finally going to the Away Player, Jonathan Graham.

Player of the tie was the Away No. 2 string, Jonathan Graham, gaining 40 Ranking Points from the match.

Player of the match must be the Away number 2 string, Jonathan Graham, who over-turned a 123 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
