Match Report Press Report

Portsmouth University Lost to Chichester 3 in a close match.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 3 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. The away team proved the statisticians wrong though by clinching a great win.

On paper, the number 5 string should have been the closest, with only 40 ranking points separating the two players before the match. The Away player, Stefan Panayotopoulos, did well therefore to secure the win.

It was the number 4 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 90 Points ! Victory finally going to the Away Player, Phoebe Griffiths.

Player of the tie was the Home No. 2 string, George GS Salisbury, gaining 100 Ranking Points from the match.
